Cadillac Fairview is helping empower homeless young people to build brighter futures and offer them a clear path off the streets. They have generously given $50,000 towards our Community Support Services, which encompasses our Street Outreach and Drop-In Centre.

Our Street Outreach teams travel to areas in which homeless youth congregate such as the downtown eastside, Granville Street, and Commercial Drive; building relationships of trust and understanding by offering food, dry socks, minor medical care, and counsel.

At our Drop-In Centre, youth have access to all of the in-house services Covenant House has to offer like a washroom, a shower, hygiene supplies, clothing, and Youth Workers who can help them with applications or obtaining identification. Here, youth can also work with our staff to develop a plan to transition from life on the streets. These programs are often the first point of contact that youth have with our organization, and serve as a vital tool for setting them up for success.

This incredible gift will provide 44 youth with access to these crucial programs for an entire year! We are so grateful to Cadillac Fairview for demonstrating their commitment of building youth up and knocking down barriers to a better future.
