For the past four years Chip Up for Charity has been recycling Christmas trees in support of Covenant House Vancouver and North Shore Rescue.
At this year’s event:
Saturday they chipped 263 trees
Sunday they chipped 415 trees
In total they chipped 678 and averaging $12.61/tree
Raising a total of $8,550.85!
Year one: They raised $865.66 and chipped 70 trees.
Year two: They raised $5056 and chipped 383 trees.
Year three: They raised $9,474.16 and chipped 708 trees.
In the past four years Chip Up for Charity and its supporters have raised a grand total of $23,946.67 for us and North Shore Rescue! Huge thank you to Chip up for Charity and all those who donated Christmas trees.
