January 29, 2010
Filed under:

Last week I posted the first of eight pages from a young person's comic strip that depicts her experience in the pyschiatric ward faced with mental health and addictions issues.  It a startlingly powerful piece and we applaud her courage for creating it and for allowing us to share it with our readers.

Please note that some of the language in the comic may be offensive to some readers

Comments, as always, are welcomed.

My brother spent a lot of

As far as the comic has been

As far as the comic has been shown, it's an outstanding autobiography. I congratulate her for her honesty, self examination, and yes.. wonderful drawing and handwriting. And hope the best for her! For all of us on this earth, the road will look and feel so hard, and unjust sometimes, and it'll feel as it is Always unjust! but the choice we'll be ours... to be happy. We are not alone and the love and care of others, and the love we have for our ourselves will be our greatest strength. Keep on fighting... and loving!
