Wills and Bequests
One of the deepest expressions of commitment is a gift by bequest. Your will is your lasting testament, the opportunity to have a final say about what and who is important to you.
By including Covenant House Vancouver in your will, you will be helping us to provide for the needs of homeless youth. Your bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a special asset such as securities or a percentage of your gross or residue of your estate. Your gift would entitle your estate to a tax receipt for 100% of the amount of the bequest, which then results in a tax credit on your final income tax return.
If you presently have a will, you can easily add an amendment (codicil), specifying your intentions towards Covenant House Vancouver. If you are in the process of drawing up a will, please consider including a bequest to Covenant House Vancouver.
Bequests, whether large or small, will help maintain and enhance the vital work we do. You will know that your generosity allows Covenant House Vancouver to help young people in need for years to come.
