The Campoverde Social Club is hosting a fundraising event to benefit Covenant House Vancouver on Friday July 17, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until midnight. We invite all Vancouverites to join us for a barbecue, silent auction, 50/50 draw, raffle and a variety of games. Several local businesses including the Arts Club Theatre, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Restoration Hardware and Eliane Hair & Spa have generously donated services and products for the silent auction. There will even be a day cruise and picnic aboard the 35-foot yacht “Zeroiah” auctioned off. Donations are still being accepted and can be made directly to the Campoverde Social Club; donation pick-up and tax receipts are available.
So put on your sunglasses and best beach wear to celebrate “Hello Summer!” and be a part of an evening that is dedicated to supporting our city’s youth through Covenant House Vancouver.
Location: 1660 Cypress Street right in the heart of beautiful Kitsilano in Vancouver.
