Archbishop Carney Students Raise Money for Youth

Carney Class

The Social Justice class (pictured above) at Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School in Port Coquitlam organised an archdiocese-wide Hands Up For Youth Jeans Day on December 10th.  Students from 45 Catholic elementary and high schools across the Lower Mainland were expected to put on their jeans for $1 with all proceeds supporting homeless and at-risk youth at Covenant House Vancouver.  Carney students hope to raise $4,000 which will provide food, shelter, clothing, counselling, and life skills training to one youth for one year across all our programs.  Thanks guys!  We know you can do it!
