Here's an example of the kind of immediate care the CSS team provides:
One evening during our weekly hot meal, a young couple came into CSS and they were infested with body lice from living on the streets. We immediately offered the kids a hot shower and some clean clothes. While they were showering, our CSS worker called the local pharmacy and got some medication for the kids to apply to rid themselves of the lice. Freshly showered and clothed, the young people were then treated to a nutritious hot meal.
