Pastoral Ministry

Attention to the spiritual needs of our youth is part of the continuum of care at Covenant House. The pastoral minister offers young people the opportunity to explore various questions of personal and spiritual growth. Through counselling, education and participation in the case management process, the pastoral minister encourages positive lifestyle and attitude change and helps youth to recognize the Divine in all of life.

The pastoral minister offers spiritual guidance, counselling and support to youth and staff being particularly sensitive to our multi-faith environment. Youth are encouraged to worship in their own particular religious traditions and to connect to places of worship in the community. The mission of showing unconditional love and absolute respect is the heart of our mission. The pastoral minister focuses on enabling our youth to come to know in a personal way, the constant and unconditional love of God.
