More Words of Encouragement

Our thanks to Susan for sending these words of support and strength for our youth.

“Hi,

A few years ago when my daughter was troubled, I wrote this poem, “walk on” for her. We all goof-up! Forgive yourself! Look for a way out of your troubles.

#1. Forgive yourself
#2. Trust yourself to know what will make you happy and comforted.
#3. Be brave, follow your heart not someone else’s plans for you. Separate from mean spirited people.
#4. Look for kindness and love. It is there. Get it! Give It!

Love from Susan”

Walk On

Life’s too short
For being a square peg in a round hole.
Do your best, but
If that’s not good enough
For you, for them,
Forgive yourself.
Walk on to better things.
Look for the window when those winds of life
Keep slamming the door in your face.

Does it make you happy?
Don’t think!
Just feel
If it’s right for you.
Your gut will rule.
Your body won’t lie.
Only egos and minds do that.
