Finding a Companion

Yesterday I had the pleasure of listening to the President of Covenant House, Kevin Ryan, speak about the work we do in Vancouver and across North and Central America. The message of hope and love was prevalent but he also spoke of companionship and just being there for our young people in the simplest of ways. I came in to work this morning and this was in my inbox, and I couldn’t resists sharing it with you. Sometimes when we are in the darkest of places the right “companion” comes to us when we most need it. Although our young people may not connect with everyone they meet at CHV they usually find someone they want to “swim” with.
