Housing study sheds light on the effects of stable housing for those with mental illness

A study on the effects of stable housing on those struggling with mental illness is taking place in cities across Canada including Vancouver.  The “At Home/Chez Soi” Study is a national research project designed to find the best way to provide housing and services to peoploe who are mentally ill and/or homeless.  The study has created some controversy specifically around the fact that 300 participants were giving housing and 200 were not.  Likewise, there is concern of the fate of those who were housed once the study is completed.
