Sending sincere thanks to the Building Owners and Managers Association of BC

Building Owners and Managers Association of BC (BOMA BC) have been proud to support at-risk and homeless youth on their journey towards independence since 2003. BOMA BC is the largest commercial real estate industry association in British Columbia. They are proud to host fundraising initiatives throughout the year, including their annual Golf Classic and Christmas Luncheon, to support charities close to their hearts. This spring, BOMA BC President of the Board of Directors, Robert Kavanagh, presented Covenant House Vancouver with an incredibly impactful donation of $10,000 to helps us serve 552 youth through Street Outreach and 1,035  youth in our Drop-In centre, give 460 youth a loving home in our Crisis Program and provide 42 youth with long-term supportive, transitional housing in our Rights of Passage program where they learn and practice new life skills.

Partial proceeds from this generous $10,000 donation were raised at the 2014 BOMA Golf Classic and Christmas Luncheon which means that members of the association and staff are a huge part of this wonderful gift to our young people.

Covenant House Vancouver would like to extend our most sincere thanks to BOMA BC members, staff and the organization itself for helping us save youth from a lifetime of homelessness and poverty.  Together, we are changing lives.
