Give a Day, Build a Life – You Can Give the Gift of Brighter Futures to Homeless Youth

The Give a Day, Build a Life Campaign directly supports Rights of Passage, our long term transitional housing program.  While living in a supportive, family like atmosphere (sometimes for the first time in their lives), our young men and women are committed to changing their lives by furthering their education or gaining employment experience- often both!

Rights of Passage saved my life.  Sometimes all youth need is a good role model and some solid love and guidance.  I still have many of the friendships I made there with both youth and staff.’  –  ROP  Resident

Created on the philosophy that all young people have the right to be mentored into adulthood by caring adults, Rights of Passage gives youth the time and guidance to build self-reliance and break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and despair.  They also learn and practice essential life skills like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and developing healthy relationships.

A gift of $6,500 provides 24 hours of life changing opportunities for all 25 young people in our Rights of Passage program, giving each of these young people the chance to learn, grow, and become the adults they were meant to be.

In the life of a young person, so much can change in 24 hours.  Can you Give a Day to help our youth build brighter futures and leave the streets behind forever?
