Little works of art bring fun and joy to our youth!

For the past 8 months, youth worker Sarah has taken time out of her day to make the Crisis Program space just a little bit more welcoming to the youth we serve. In the staff office at the Pender Crisis Program there is a white board with the names of all of the youth in the program and every week she draws various pictures, which always attract the attention of youth passing by; whether it is Pokémon, Admiral Akbar, Marvel super heroes or any requests from the youth (or staff)!

Sarah takes her time to draw little works of art, which always leave the youth and her co-workers impressed. Although this may seem like a small gesture, it can be a conversation starter for building relationships with new youth when they see their favourite character on the board.

Big thanks to Sarah for bring fun and joy to our youth!
