About donation letters

We mail to our donors at various levels of frequency. If you would like to change the frequency with which you receive mail, please call 604-638-4438.

Like many charities, Covenant House Vancouver also sends out mail to attract donors.

We get potential donor names from other charities or we purchase them from rental lists (like magazine subscriptions). These mailings are very effective in helping us raise funds and acquire new donors.

Your name will not go into our database unless you donate to Covenant House Vancouver, as these are one-time only mailings. If you do not wish to receive these type of mailings from charities, please contact the Canadian Marketing Association and ask to be put on their “do not contact list”. It may not stop all unsolicited mail, but it should help.
