Donate Items

We are able to give kids a safe place to stay, clothes and food, and things to start over, because of generous, caring people like you. Thank you!

We need your financial help today.  Please consider making a donation to Covenant House.

Donations of food can be dropped off 24 hours/day at our Drake Street (575 Drake Street) location.

We are happy to accept donations of clothing and some house-hold items (sheets, small appliances, kitchen ware) between the hours of 8am and 3pm daily.

Due to limited space, we can only take certain items for donation and would ideally like to discuss your donation with you before you drop it off (this will save you a trip if the items you wish to donate are not suitable for youth aged 16 – 24).

Our gifts-in-kind staff can be reached at (604) 968-4679.  After you have spoken with staff, please complete this form and drop it off with your donation at: 575 Drake Street Vancouver.

If you require assistance unloading, please be sure to call us in advance (604-968-4679) so that we can be available to help you.  Likewise, if you are unable to come between 8am and 3pm, please contact us to arrange a  convenient drop-off time. Access to the building is available through the parkade located at the back of the building during these hours.

Covenant House Vancouver does not operate a thrift store or resell the items that are donated. We sort through all donations received and if we cannot use an item, we re-donate it to Big Brothers and Developmental Disabilities.  All other items go to our clothing room for youth use and housing program.

We ask that all donations be clean, undamaged and age appropriate for youth between 16 and 24. If you are unsure if your donation is suitable, please contact us at 604-968-4679 or by email at anorrish@covenanthousebc.org.
