One month until Sleep Out: Executive Edition!

Our 7th Annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition will be held on November 15th! Executives, influential leaders and public figures will spend one night sleeping on the street to raise funds for our Crisis Program.

On any given night there are between 500 and 1,000 young people living on the streets in Vancouver. Vancouver’s downtown streets are dangerous. Sexual exploitation, drug abuse, poverty and illness are commonplace. Many youth are re-victimized on the streets, having fled one unsafe situation only to find their circumstances are often worse. Exposed to the elements, lonely, afraid and without hope; this is the reality for our youth.

With only a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard, participants will get a small glimpse of what it is like to “sleep” on the street. “Sleepers” will hear their personal stories of how youth found their way to our doors and how their lives have changed since.

You can help by making a donation to support a Sleep Out participant.
