All the youth and staff are now expected to wear face masks to help reduce the spread of germs and COVID-19. Those of us who have worn medical face masks know the pain and strain it can have on our ears. The masks often have elastic holders that can cause chaffing and rubbing.
Nathan a Youth Worker in our Crisis Program came up with a great idea to craft some homemade ear savers. Nathan and a group of youth created a simply DIY (Do It Yourself) that goes at the back of the head and reduces rubbing. If you are interested in creating ear savers just google the words ear savers and many DIY options will come up.
Way to get creative team!
