Thanking Richards Buell Sutton LLP for 150 years of community support!

Richards Buell Sutton LLP (RBS) has been an active member of our local community for 150 years and in that time has collaborated with various organizations to provide annual donations, pro bono legal services, and volunteer hours. Covenant House Vancouver is grateful to be one of those organizations – recently RBS made an incredible $20,000 donation to our cause!

Jeff Lowe, Q.C. and Managing Partner at RBS, speaks about this generous gift, “We are pleased to support Covenant House as they fulfill the crucial need of helping at-risk young people. We are particularly motivated to back this cause because CH provides this support to individuals in a respectful way. Our firm is proud to play a small part in the many success stories of youth who have embraced this support, and have gone on to lead happy healthy lives.”

Covenant House Vancouver is grateful for RBS’s ongoing support to improve the lives of vulnerable youth. We could not do this life-changing work without donors like RBS: their investment provides youth with critical services like housing, mental health supports, and education opportunities.

Sharon White, Q.C., and Partner at RBS shares why she is a champion for young people who are experiencing homelessness, “Their stories are heart-wrenching, but it is so wonderful that these youth are welcomed by Covenant House and given help, access to shelter, and resources and a future to look forward too. There are many worthwhile charities, but I just feel that these youth need our help, and otherwise don’t get much attention.”

Thank you, Richards Buell Sutton LLP, for relentlessly supporting young people working to overcome homelessness!
