One young person who had struggled with loneliness this holiday season let staff know how much their support meant to them with a kind and simple gesture.
This youth had made a special request for some delicate clothes and shoes to be washed separately. While learning how to do laundry is a life skill we work on with the youth, young people living in our Crisis Program can also request to have clothing washed by our overnight staff.
The youth left a small note in their laundry bag thanking staff for all their help and care over the holidays and wishing them a Merry Christmas.
