Our Spring Match Campaign Is On Now!

Thanks to the generosity of the estate of Mr. Roman Babicki, any donation made from now until June 30, 2022 (up to $195,000), will be matched for double the impact.

Covenant House Vancouver exists, now more than ever, to support young people experiencing homelessness and to provide them with a source of unconditional love and absolute respect. Our doors are open as we continue to provide food, shelter, and medical attention for some of the most vulnerable in our community.

An Investment in Future Communities

A community doesn’t thrive until everyone thrives. The youth we serve are part of that community, and with your support, we can help them thrive and inspire future communities.

Anyone who has participated in one of our Sleep Out events can tell you how just one night of sleeping on the street affects your cognitive processes, because you don’t sleep—you are always on alert. Imagine doing this night after night.

In the words of a youth who visited CHV for the first time, “I remember walking in [to Covenant House Vancouver] and I just choked up and couldn’t communicate what I needed, and I just started crying. When I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and they asked me how I was doing, and I felt for once that, wow, I can finally feel at peace and I finally feel like I’m surrounded by people who want to support me, and help me, and encourage me to live life happily. It was a very life-changing experience.”

Roman Babicki was committed to helping vulnerable young people in our community. Roman also served on Covenant House Vancouver’s board of directors from 2003 – 2012. His legacy of supporting vulnerable youth lives on through his estate and this match campaign.

Won’t you join Roman in supporting vulnerable youth and double your investment in tomorrow’s communities?
