Special thanks to BC Housing and their generous employees!

Covenant House Vancouver recently received an outstanding donation of $72,109.65 from BC Housing and its employees, as part of their Community Connections annual donor campaign. BC Housing employees are passionate about giving back, and the Community Connections annual donor campaign provides the opportunity for employees to “give where their heart is.” Employees support community organizations through volunteering and fundraising under BC Housing’s four pillars of giving — Children and Youth, Women, Families and Seniors; Poverty; Mental Health, General Health and Substance Use Disorders; and Sustainability. The program has raised over $2.4 million for more than 250 different charities since its launch in 2008, and continues to bring BC Housing employees together in the spirit of generosity.

Covenant House is grateful to be among the organizations supported by this innovative and inspiring initiative. Directed to the Rights of Passage transitional housing program at Covenant House Vancouver, this gift will support youth who are working hard to build the skills they need for a healthy, fulfilling and productive future.

Thank you to BC Housing and the amazing staff who contributed to this campaign! We are grateful for your care, compassion, and partnership.
