Building Owners and Managers Association of BC are helping to change young lives!

For 15 years, the Building Owners and Managers Association of BC (BOMA BC) have been proud to support at-risk and homeless youth on their journey towards independence. BOMA BC is the largest commercial real estate industry association in British Columbia. They are proud to include fundraising initiatives at their annual Golf Classic and Christmas Luncheon, to support charities close to their hearts. We would like to thank members of the association as well as staff for their contributions.

On March 8th, Chair Susan Dodsworth (left) with President Paul LaBranche (centre), presented Covenant House Vancouver with a life-changing gift of $10,000.

Members, staff and BOMA BC are providing 303 youth with 24 hours of care at Covenant House. These young people will meet the Outreach team on the street, find a hot meal and clean clothes in the Drop-In Centre, find refuge in one of the shelters (Male or Female Crisis Program), or long-term supportive, transitional housing in our Rights of Passage program. Each youth will receive immediate support from adults they can trust to help them improve their lives and futures.

Covenant House Vancouver would like to extend our most sincere thanks to BOMA BC members, staff and the organization itself for helping us save youth from a lifetime of homelessness and poverty. You are changing lives.
