African Feast for Community Dinner

Each month Rights of Passage (ROP) holds a Community Dinner. These dinners allow our youth, staff and special guests to come together as a community. It also helps us teach our young people life skills such as cooking and the importance of eating healthy food.

The most recent Community Dinner was hosted by a youth with African roots and they wanted to share their cultural foods with the ROP Community. The African feast including five different stews served with Injera flat bread. The youth who were brave enough even ate it the traditional way – with their hands!

Delicious!
