Youth in Rights of Passage live in a supportive, family like atmosphere (sometimes for the first time in their lives) where they participate in a 6 step life skills program, further their education, and gain employment experience. When young people leave Rights of Passage they are fully prepared to live as independent adults and leave street life behind forever.
Every year, Coast Capital Savings invests 7% of their pre-tax profits towards local community causes. Since 2000, that’s resulted in more than $60 million. Over the past year, Coast Capital Savings’ support to Covenant House Vancouver has included this wonderful gift of $24,000 to our Rights of Passage Program, as well as a match gift of $100,000 for our June Match Campaign.
Coast Capital Savings is committed to building a richer future for youth in our communities. Young people face significant hurdles in their journey toward independence. Coast Capital Savings strategically invests and works alongside community partners to remove these barriers and help young people achieve financial well-being.
