Our Mentorship Program gives youth the opportunity to develop healthy and trusting one-to-one relationships with responsible adults. Mentors are adult role-models that commit to supporting a young person to achieve their goals over the course of one year.
In honour of Thank Your Mentor Day we invited a youth mentees to share why they appreciate having a mentor.
“I’ve met with my mentor numerous times to discuss ideas and career. I toured a workplace that my mentor previously worked in. I met various awesome people and learned much on the tour. My mentor is the only person I know who has expertise in my prospective career. I commend the CHV mentorship program, as it has been a complete success for me.”
