Egg drop competition at our Crisis Program

Our Male Crisis Program started an egg drop competition last year and it was so popular a second one was held this spring. The youth are given an egg and various materials like a plastic bag, cups, and sticks. They each work on their own innovative design that will protect the egg on it’s drop.

The drop is from the roof top of ROP down onto our Crisis Program patio. Most eggs don’t survive the fall but watching them get splattered is half the fun. This year one egg out of fifteen survived!

It’s a fun event that gets the youth thinking creatively and it’s quickly become an annual spring tradition.
