About Sleep Out Vancouver

Join us for Sleep Out: Home Edition. On any given night, 500 to 1,100 young people are living on Vancouver’s streets. Sexual exploitation, substance misuse, and illness are commonplace. Many youth are re-victimized, having fled one unsafe situation only to find their circumstances are often worse. Exposed to the elements, alone, and afraid; this is the reality for our youth.

But you can be a source of hope.

On July 10, we are challenging individuals, families, and businesses to spend one night on their living room floor, on their balcony, or in their backyard, and raise crucial funds to support our Street Outreach Program.

Join us for our first-ever Sleep Out: Home Edition today!

How it works

Create a team or participate on your own to have a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of youth experiencing homelessness.

You choose where and how you Sleep Out (somewhere safe and legal). This flexible event allows you to have an impact on youth experiencing homelessness while choosing what your event day/evening looks like.

Many participants will Sleep Out in their own backyards and on their driveways. Others will Sleep Out in their living rooms and on their kitchen floors. At some point in the evening, we’ll all come together for a livestream “Late Night Chat” with Covenant House Vancouver staff and an opportunity to learn more about youth overcoming homelessness and the impact you’re making in their lives.

Register for this event today, and join us for an experience you won’t soon forget!
