It’s been said that in times of crisis, you know who your friends are… and sometimes friends you never knew show up at your door. One such friend is Roger Milad, CEO of The Friendship Food Company Ltd. which owns A&W franchises across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, who without even being asked, offered his kindhearted support when COVID-19 turned the world upside down.
He stepped up as an insightful leader and for the past two months has offered not only hot meals but generous monthly donations as well. This thoughtful giving is allowing us more room to adapt to our changing reality so we can continue to meet the needs of our youth.
It is such an exciting treat for our youth to have lunch from A&W and Covenant House Vancouver wants to thank Roger for becoming a part of our family. Thank you Roger and A&W team for helping keep vulnerable young people safe and well fed!
