Our Pender Street building has a wonderful rooftop garden. This tranquil space is a little oasis in the middle of downtown Vancouver and is always well used but even more so since the start of COVID-19.
The young people at Rights of Passage began gardening and painting planter boxes at the start of the pandemic as there was not much else they could do. Gardening got them outside in the fresh air and it is such a healthy, relaxing activity.
The youth are now enjoying the beauty and bounty of all their hard work.
