Lift Each Other Up this Pink Shirt Day!

Pink Shirt Day was created when two Nova Scotia high school students supported a fellow student that was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt by also wearing pink (read the full story here).

From that moment of solidarity, Pink Shirt Day was born and it allows all people to stand up to bullies everywhere by wearing pink.

This Pink Shirt Day, the focus is on working together and treating others with dignity and respect. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all and shown the importance of helping one another and advocating for those who need it.

Let’s “lift each other up” and support programs that encourage healthy self esteem and teach empathy, compassion and kindness.
