Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge Rowing Team Supports Covenant House

A four-person rowing team playfully named ‘In Deep Ship’ will participate in the hardest rowing race in the world this December.

Vancouver-based skipper Jessica Mullins and three crew members will attempt to manually row 4,800 km across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean. Estimated time between 35 and 60 days.

All four are in an intense training regimen that started last year in their countries of residence. They will come together in spring to continue their training ahead of the December 2021 event.

Covenant House Vancouver is one of three charities the team has chosen to support and the only non-U.K. charity. Their fundraising goal is £60,000.

As the team prepares for what is arguably the biggest physical and mental challenge of their lives Covenant House Vancouver extends its gratitude for their support. We’ll provide updates throughout the year including during the big event!
