“That fourth putt was particularly good”. The quote that’s featured on the film poster promoting Why You Suck at Golf deftly sums up how frustrating a game of golf can be. Clive Scarff’s film is a humorous family comedy celebrating the trials and triumphs on the links.
Clive wrote, directed, and played a key role in the film, which was a passion project completed with an all-volunteer crew. Shot last summer in West Vancouver and on Bowen Island, the Bowen Island Golf Club features prominently in the film.
Because Clive and his crew were able to make the film with volunteers, he wants to help Covenant House Vancouver by donating partial proceeds from rentals of the film. When you use this link to rent the film, Covenant House will receive $2.00 per rental.
