The New Year brings with it new hopes, new dreams, and new opportunities. Pragmatically speaking, the way to make hopes, dreams, and opportunities a reality, is to build on the successes of what has been accomplished in the past.
We would like to thank all for you for being a part of the journey that has led us to 2023. To illustrate how profound your impact has been on the successes of the young people who we serve and on the agency, we would like to share with you the 2022 Impact Report.
To give you an idea of the magnitude of your support, we will provide you with some statistics. Did you know that our cooks lovingly prepared and served more than 96,720 meals, last year?!
In 2022, we celebrated the opening of our newest building at 1280 Seymour St. The opening of the newest building coincided with CHV celebrating 25 years of serving youth in Vancouver. In the Report, we will walk you through a timeline to illustrate how CHV has grown and evolved over the last 25 years.
As we work towards advancing our knowledge and enhancing the empowerment supports for youth who are at risk of, or are survivors of, exploitation and human trafficking, in Vancouver, we will share with you where this initiative is at.
Recently, we have been talking quite a bit about the importance of art therapy and sharing images of our new space. Join us as we take you through a collective youth story about how impactful art therapy can be in helping youth work through their traumas.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to our donors, board members, partners, volunteers, and staff, for all that you do to ensure that youth are supported relentlessly.
