The Chair of Covenant House Vancouver’s Board of Directors, Mélanie Hennessey, has received the Award for Excellence in Investor Relations, from the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI).
The Award for Excellence in Investor Relations is given by CIRI to honour individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the investor relations profession and to the Institute.
Mélanie is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at NOVAGOLD. She is responsible for all facets of NOVAGOLD’s corporate communications functions, including investor relations, environmental initiatives and reporting, community outreach, government relations, corporate governance, engagement with partners, and crisis management.
In addition to her volunteer position at CHV, Mélanie is a mentor for the University of Ottawa Telfer School of Business, and a public speaker who advocates for stakeholder engagement, and the advancement of individuals aspiring to executive level positions and women in leadership. Mélanie is also a member of organizations such as the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Women’s Leadership Circle.
We would like to take this moment to congratulate Mélanie for being the recipient of this year’s CIRI award, and we would also like to thank her for her advocacy and relentless support of vulnerable youth in our community.
