Island Pacific School Students raise $7,735 for youth experiencing homelessness!

On April 8th students from Island Pacific School slept outside in support of homeless and at-risk youth at Covenant House Vancouver. Through their efforts, they raised an amazing $7,735 for Sleep Out: Student Edition.

This year’s sleep out looked a little different for the students because of the COVID-19 health emergency. They created an altered version (in their own back yards) and met up for a group video chat. They had a lively discussion about what they would have experienced if they had done the normal sleep out and about the issues of youth homelessness.

At a time like this in our world, looking after each other, especially those most vulnerable, is so important. Thank you Island Pacific School students for your efforts and to all the donors for your generosity!
