In the past we have shared how our Outreach Team creatively found new ways to meet the needs of youth (serving meals, providing clothing, and more) while still respecting social distancing. Today we wanted to share how they continue to adapt and adjust so they can provide essential services during this health emergency:
- Safely providing youth who do not live with us access to showers and laundry on an as needed basis.
- Delivering food and meal kits to youth living in single room occupancy units (SRO’s).
- More youth than ever before are connecting with our Outreach Workers through Facebook.
