Hockey Helps the Homeless supports ROP and is back on the ice…

In a time when so many sports events have been put on hold due to the pandemic, we would like to thank Hockey Helps the Homeless for doing everything possible to continue supporting youth experiencing homelessness. Most recently the foundation donated $35,000 to support life skills, education, and career support for youth in our Rights of Passage Program.

We were excited to meet with our local representative, Patrick Robinson, who shared that the organization is looking forward to a much-anticipated return to the ice this fall with their cross-Canada annual hockey tournaments where players raise funds to make a direct impact in their local community.

On behalf of all of us at Covenant House Vancouver, we would like to wish Hockey Helps the Homeless every success in your tournament season and thank you again for supporting the needs of youth!
