Covenant House Vancouver is looking to expand our services to offer pro bono legal support to young people.
We are wanting to offer a legal clinic, housed on-site at Covenant House once a month for youth to have direct access to various legal supports.
Common legal support needs for youth are:
- Immigration support with refugee process, appeals, sponsoring family and support with forms
- Notary support for ID’s
- Family law
- Labour rights and abuses
- Criminal law as charges out of province can be challenging to manage
